16 - Make Your Bed
So you can climb back into it later. Duh.
What is it?
- As soon as you get out of bed, make it. That’s it.
Why should I?
- Making your bed is just another way of starting your day off with the right energy. I’ve started realizing that the age old adage, “clean house, clean mind” is kind of true. The cleaner and more paired down my living space is, the more space I have in my head to think and get things done. But of course, we’re not going to try to clean and organize everything at once. Instead, we’ll start building momentum by just trying to make the bed.
How do I start?
- Seriously, just make it as soon as you get up. The longer you put it off, the harder it will be to get it done. Plus this way you can’t just crawl right back into bed.
